I will show our recent discovery of the "Per-Tau Shell", a gigantic 3D shell (R~80 pc) of gas and dust in the solar vicinity, that is actively forming new stars in its envelope. This structure is revealed by recent ultra-high resolution observations of 3D dust. The Per-Tau shell provides the first 3D observational evidence for the constructive aspect of supernovae, where instead of destroying clouds, supernovae promote cloud-condensation and trigger the formation of a new generation of stars. I will also show how we can utilize augmented reality (AR) to visualize 3D observational data.
