This poster introduces Idefix, a modern, object-oriented and exascale-ready code designed for astrophysical fluid dynamics. I present the main features of the code of interest for protoplanetary disc and planet formation studies (self-gravity, non-ideal MHD, orbital advection) and briefly discuss some recent results obtained with this code, ranging from core-collapse simulations to planet-disc interaction.
