Aims and Scope

The advent of recent observational facilities and the progress in theories have led us to understand both the process of star formation and the process of planet formation significantly. However, the star formation and the planet formation are intrinsically linked subjects and should not be studied separately [1]. Furthermore, the formation of the solar system is now studied in the context of the evolution of our Milky Way Galaxy [2]. The purpose of this meeting is to bring together scientists working in various fields and to provide opportunity to share their research results and explore possibility for collaboration. The conference will cover all areas of astronomical research that are related to the formation of stars/planets and the evolution of the Galaxy.
